An interesting game for Obras (26-4) which played road game in La Rioja against 4th ranked Riachuelo (22-9). Second ranked Obras managed to get a 7-point victory 87-80. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Juan Respaud (190-2005) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Lautaro Barrios (195-2004) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Independ.O.'s coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 22 points by Benjamin Neugebauer did not help to save the game for Zarate. Independ.O. have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 28-5 record.
