The Regular Season in La Liga is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 3 rounds. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Top ranked Boca (26-9) recorded its ninth loss in Corrientes on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by tenth ranked San Martin (19-19) 69-64. The best player for the winners was point guard Gaston Garcia (187-1998) who scored 21 points. Swingman Federico Grun (191-1996) chipped in 13 points. Colombian forward Andres Ibarguen (200-1996, college: Angelo St., agency: Helping Ballers) produced 10 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Boca's coach Gonzalo Perez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. San Martin maintains tenth place with 19-19 record. Defending champion Boca still keeps top position with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Important game to mention about took place in La Rioja. Second ranked Quimsa (26-12) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 3rd placed Riachuelo (22-13) 99-97 on Sunday evening. The former international guard Nicolas Romano (200-1987) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). Brandon Robinson contributed with 24 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for the winners. point guard Juan Corbalan (185-1998) answered with 31 points and 4 assists for Riachuelo. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Quimsa maintains second place with 26-12 record having just three point less than leader Boca. Riachuelo at the other side dropped to the fifth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Obras. Quimsa will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Riachuelo will play on the road against Ferro (#12) in Buenos Aires and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Defending champion maintains first place with 26-9 record. Loser Regatas dropped to the eighth position with 18 games lost. Boca's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Buenos Aires to the arena .

Other games of round 41 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Zarate was crushed by Penarol in Mar del Plata 110-81. Riachuelo beat Gimnasia at home 77-73. San Lorenzo won against Argentino on the opponent's court 77-60. Instituto managed to outperform Gimnasia in a home game 90-78. Zarate recorded a loss to Platense on the road 88-82.

Penarol shot 63.5 percent from the field and made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Penarol had a 30-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American guard Marcus Thomas (191-1995, college: Rosemont) stepped up and scored 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard Luciano Gonzalez (194-1990) chipped in 16 points.
