Hurricanes dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Trojans' 40 and made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Trojans 65-53 including 30 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was American point guard Amar Ross (170-2000, college: Bethesda) who scored 23 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. His fellow American import point guard Tyrie Orosco (196, college: Cent.Penn) chipped in 20 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Jayden Lopez produced a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
