Flamengo are crowned NBB champions! They defeated Uberlandia in the title clash at the HSBC Arena. Caio Silveira (211-C-87, agency: Interperformances) stepped up with 23 points and 8 rebounds to pace the winners. Flamengo jumped to an early lead. They grabbed an 18:7 advantage midway through the starting quarter. Flamengo ensured a 21:15 lead after the opening frame. But Uberlandia straightened up their game in the second frame. Robert Day helped them to narrow the deficit at a single point 33:34 at halftime. Flamengo capped the third period with a strong rally to open a 58:49 lead heading into the fourth frame. Caio Silveira and Marquinhos Vieira (207-SF-84) kept Flamengo in charge throughout the fourth frame as they cruised to the victory. Marquinhos Vieira delivered 16 points, while Olivinha Rodriguez (202-PF-83) added 10 points for Flamengo. Luis Felipe Gruber (205-F-85) answered with 20 points for Uberlandia. Lucas Cipolini (206-F/C-86, college: BYU-Hawaii) added 16 points and 9 rebounds in the loss.

Brazil selection earned an overtime victory in the first overtime success in NBB All-Star Game. An exciting game took place at the Nilson Nelson Gym in Brasilia. Alex Ribeiro (191-G-80, agency: Interperformances) stepped up with 26 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. He was named the MVP after the game. It was a spectacular performance from both teams. Brazil led by two points 36:34 after the first quarter. They went on a 42:28 run in the second frame to pile up a 78:62 lead at halftime. But the World selection took the upper hand in the second half. They went on a 34:23 run in the third term to narrow the gap. World denied the deficit and tied things up at 132 at the end of regulation. Olivinha Rodriguez (202-PF-83) came up with a decisive three-pointer late in the overtime to bring Brazil to the victory. He accounted for 25 points, while Rafael Mineiro added 23 points and 9 rebounds for Brazil. Shamell Stallworth (195-SG-80, agency: Interperformances, college: USF) responded with 37 points for World. Robert Day (197-F-82, college: W.Oregon) had 26 points in the losing case.
