Round 26 most important game was a victory of Mogi over 5th ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru 91-82 on Saturday night. Mogi looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The former international point guard Fulvio de Assis (186-81) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 5 rebounds and 13 assists. Wesley Alves (198-96) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. The former international guard Alex Garcia (190-80, agency: Interperformances) replied with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for Paschoalotto/Bauru. Mogi (15-15) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Franca. Paschoalotto/Bauru at the other side keeps the fifth position with 11 games lost. Mogi will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Paschoalotto/Bauru will play at home against Cerrado (#13) and is hoping to win this game.

American guard Rashaun McLemore (195-86, college: CSUN) responded with 26 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Campo Mourao maintains fifteenth position with 6-23 record. Fortaleza at the other side dropped to the tenth place with 15 games lost. Campo Mourao will play against higher ranked Pinheiros (#14) in Sao Paulo in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Fortaleza will play at home against Paulistano (#4) and will have a slim chance for a victory.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 26: Bauru beat UniFacisa on the road 88-72. Campo Mourao lost to Corinthians on its own court 74-86. Pinheiros managed to outperform Cerrado in Sao Paulo 71-63. UniFacisa rolled over Pato Basquete at home 99-80.

Mogi - Brasilia 97-77

The game between eighth ranked Mogi (15-15) and 16th ranked Brasilia (5-25) in Mogi das Cruzes on Thursday ended with biggest points difference. Mogi outscored guests from Brasilia 97-77. Mogi dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Brasilia's 22. They outrebounded Brasilia 45-31 including 35 on the defensive glass. Mogi looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists.
