The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Sao Paulo: Sao Paulo (#3) and Corinthians (#7). American guard Davaunta Thomas (196-1995, college: UAFS) produced 21 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sao Paulo have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 15-5 record having three points less than leader Sesi Franca. Corinthians lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with eight games lost.
