Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Paulistano maintains fifth place with 15-9 record. Pinheiros lost their third game in a row. They keep the eighth position with ten games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

There was no surprise in Sao Paulo where 11th ranked UNIFACISA (10-13) was defeated by fifth ranked Paulistano (15-9) 85-68 on Thursday.
