Puerto Rico have won their fourth consecutive CentroBasket title. They overcame Dominican Republic 95-81 in the Final game.
Puerto Rico opened the game with a massive 31-13 run and never looked behind. They added narrow 26-24 and 22-19 wins in the second and the fourth quarters, whilst Dominican Republic secured win only in the third period.
Arella Guirantes (181-SG-1997, college: Rutgers) dominated the court with 40 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds. Brianna Jones (177-G-1997, college: Georgetown) netted 18, whilst Tayra Melendez (183-G-1993, college: URI) produced 10. Cesarina Capellan (178-SF-2003) replied with 26 points and Yohanna Morton (172-G-1987, college: RMU) as well as Esmery Martinez (188-F-2000, college: Arizona) had 16 each.

Arella Guirantes, 27-year old Puerto Rican shooting guard picked up the Most Valuable Player at the Centrobasket Championship. She plays for the Perfumerias Avenida Salamanca in Spain and graduated from the Rutgers three years ago. Guirantes received multiple other awards, was named the Best Guard and was voted to the First Team. She started playing in the Puerto Rican National Team 7 years ago. Guirantes was previously voted the in Mexico eight times and in Irapuato (Mexico) six times in the past. She averaged almost 7 rebounds per game during the event. Guirantes led the Olympic Games in points per game with almost 32. She has totalled 5 games of 20 or more points on the year and recorded 30 or more points in 2 games. Guirantes' 40 points against El Salvador were the most she scored at the tournament. Among many awards she was selected to the All-Big Ten First Team between 2020 and 2021. Cesarina Capellan, 21-year old Dominican small forward was selected as the Best Forward of Centrobasket Championship. She plays for the Unicaja Mijas Malaga in Spain. Capellan was also selected to the First Team. She started playing in the Dominican National Team 3 years ago. Capellan also played for the Under 17 national team back in 2019. She was previously honored as the in Havana (Cuba) seven times, in Mexico six times and in Irapuato (Mexico) seven times in the past. Capellan's exceptional play earned her the second spot in points per game, boasting an impressive average of over 24. She also registered almost 7 rebounds per game at the event. Capellan's 29 points against Mexico were the most she scored at the tournament.
Esmery Martinez, Dominican forward earned the Best Center at the Centrobasket Championship. She plays for the Charleville-Mezieres in France and is the Arizona alumna from 2024. Martinez was also chosen to the First Team. She started playing in the Dominican National Team 6 years ago. Martinez also played for the Under 16 national team back in 2016. She previously picked up the in Irapuato (Mexico) seven times in the past. Martinez orchestrated her way to the fourth spot in points per game, showcasing a dazzling average of over 18. She led the Centrobasket in rebounds per game with almost 12. Martinez has totalled 2 games of 20 or more points and had double-doubles in 4 games during the event. Her 27 points against El Salvador were the most she scored at the tournament. Among many awards she played in the final of the Big 12 Tournament in 2021. She was selected to the All-Big 12 First Team back in 2021. Martinez was also selected to the All-Big 12 Second Team in 2022.
Hazel Ramirez, 32-year old Mexican point guard was named to the First Team of Centrobasket Championship. She plays for the Rojas de Veracruz and is ex the Loyola Marymount from 2014. It is Ramirez's second year in the Mexican National Team. Ramirez was previously named the in Irapuato (Mexico) seven times in the past. She recorded over 16 points per game at the event. Ramirez led the World Cup in assists per game with over 7. She has totalled 3 games of 20 or more points during the event. Ramirez's 22 points against Puerto Rico were the most she scored at the tournament. Among many awards she won the Mexican LMBPF championship title in 2019, 2021 and 2023. She was selected to the Latinbasket Mexican LMBPF All-Domestic Players Team in 2023. Ramirez was also selected to the Latinbasket All-Mexican LMBPF Second Team between 2018 and 2023. She was selected as the Latinbasket All-Mexican LMBPF Honorable Mention back in 2021. Ramirez was also selected as the Mexican LMBPF All-Star Game between 2019 and 2023.
Hillary Martinez, 27-year old Salvadorean small forward earned a spot in the First Team at the Centrobasket Championship. She plays for the Moca in Puerto Rico. Martinez started playing in the Salvadorean National Team 12 years ago. She also played for the Under 18 national team back in 2014. Martinez was previously voted the Best Forward back in 2022, and selected to the First Team back in 2022 and 2023, in Mexico times, in El Salvador eight times and in Irapuato (Mexico) seven times in the past. She conducted her way to the third position in averaging a commendable almost 21 points per game. Martinez also averaged almost 9 rebounds per game at the event. Her 24 points against Cuba were the most she scored at the tournament.
