Virgin Islands kept on winning in Saint Thomas. The hosts cruised past Jamaica to clinch the fourth consecutive victory. Victoria Hamilton (178-G-91) provided 21 points and 8 rebounds in the win. Virgin Islands accounted for a 29:16 halftime lead. They followed with a 17:8 run in the third term to clear off for good. Natalie Day (182-G/F-90, college: Portland) delivered 14 points and 9 boards for the hosts. Shenneika Smith (185-G/F-89, college: St.John's) responded with 15 points for Jamaica.
Puerto Rico - Bahamas 69-42
Puerto Rico cruised past Bahamas for the third victory at the championship. Dayshalee Salaman (163-PG-90, college: Lincoln Memorial) stepped up with 14 points for the winners. Puerto Rico ensured a 32:19 halftime lead. Bahamas pulled within 5 points at the final break. But Puerto Rico sank 28 points in the fourth period and got away with a comfortable win. Ashley Santos (180-G-94) delivered 9 points in the victory. Leashja Grant (188-C-94) responded with 15 points and 11 rebounds for Bahamas.
Guatemala - Mexico 44-61
Mexico beat Guatemala to improve at 3-1 record in Saint Thomas. Brisa Silva (170-G-84, college: Oklahoma St.), Alexis Castro (180-F/G-86, college: Vermont) and Daniela Pardo (165-PG-94) posted 9 points each to lead well-balanced effort from the winners. Guatemala recorded a 19:11 lead after the opening frame. But Mexico responded with a 21:4 run in the second quarter. They ignited a 29:21 run in the second half to secure the winning outcome. Emily Rosales (178-F-94) and Angelica Cardenas (175-G/F-94) responded with 13 points each for Guatemala.
