Puerto Rico have won the 2021 Centrobasket tournament. They edged Costa Rica to finish the tournament undefeated. Puerto Rico qualified to 2021 FIBA AmeriCup with the win. Puerto Rico accumulated a 46-26 halftime lead. They held Costa Rica to just 13 points in the second half and raced to the triumph. Isalys Quinones (190-C/F-97, college: Dartmouth) accounted for 17 points and 10 rebounds for Puerto Rico. Tayra Melendez (183-G-93, college: URI) added 11 points for Puerto Rico. Daniela Quesada (168-G-97) responded with 10 points for Costa Rica.

Dominican Republic - El Salvador 82-58
Dominican Republic beat El Salvador for the first win in San Salvador. Yuleska Ramirez-Tejeda (170-G-98) delivered 15 points for the winners. Dominican Republic dominated from start to finish. They established a 40-26 halftime lead. Dominican Republic sank 42 points in the second half and cruised to the win. Genesis Evangelista (170-G-93) tossed in 14 points for the winners. Aida Funes (167-PG-84) answered with 16 points for El Salvador.
