Dominican Republic won Group B of the CentroBasket 2024 with a perfect 3-0 record. They overcame Mexico 78-67 as both teams advanced to the Semifinals. Mexico finished second with a 2-1 record.
Both teams exchanged the narrow wins in the first half as the hosts later took 52-47 lead at the end of the third quarter. Dominican Republic meanwhile erupted with a 31-15 surge in the last stanza to seal the win.
