Municipal C. - Colo Colo 57-82 An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in . Second ranked Colo Colo faced 4th ranked Municipal C.. Guests from Santiago (10-2) smashed host Municipal C. (5-7) 82-57. Colo Colo had a 38-25 advantage in offensive rebounds. Martin Gomez scored 25 points to lead the charge for the winners and guard Francisco Atala (-1994) chipped in 8 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Center Marko Castro (192-1988) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and forward Jordan Flores (-2002) scored 10 points and 5 assists. Brisas were smashed at home by 17 points 59-76 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Boston College forced 21 Brisas turnovers. Strangely Brisas outrebounded Boston College 46-32 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Yves Orelus orchestrated the victory by scoring 30 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Cristobal Ordonez (195-2004) contributed with 15 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Boston College's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Miguel Granados replied with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Sascha Frings (202-1986) added 12 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Brisas. Liceo Curico dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Aleman's 22. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 51.6 percentage. The former international Mohunir Zerene (187-1994) scored 40 points (!!!) to lead the charge for the winners and Haitian forward Heder Louis chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Liceo Curico players scored in double figures. Liceo Curico's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Salvadorean Jose Figueroa (-2004) responded with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field) and forward Lautaro Aravena (-2001) scored 11 points. This time Stadio Italiano used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from 74-53 on Sunday night. Stadio Italiano had a 32-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. The former international Ramiro Galvez (-1996) had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Cesar Belmar (-2002) chipped in 14 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Tomas L. lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with nine games lost. Arabe de Valp. - Sergio Ceppi 66-69 The most exciting game of round 14 in the LNB 2 took place in Valparaiso. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengers Arabe de Valp. (6-6) to second ranked Sergio Ceppi (7-4) 69-66 in the game for the second place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Arabe de Valp.. Sergio Ceppi forced 27 Arabe de Valp. turnovers. Strangely Arabe de Valp. outrebounded Sergio Ceppi 54-32 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Arabe de Valp. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Boris Guerra (-1987) who scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. The former international forward Fabian Aguilera (-1995) chipped in 19 points. Sergio Ceppi's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Pedro Soares produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds and forward Ricardo Jadue (-1998) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts.
