The game between second ranked Sergio Ceppi (6-2) and seventh ranked Luis Matte (4-3) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Sergio Ceppi was crushed by Luis Matte on the road 74-53. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sergio Ceppi. Luis Matte had a 34-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. Center Lorenzo Cifuentes (-1995) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Venezuelan forward Luis Adrian chipped in 17 points. Power forward Boris Guerra (-1987) produced 19 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Luis Matte moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Quilpue. Sergio Ceppi at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. Luis Matte is looking forward to face higher ranked Aleman (#4) in Puerto Varas in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sergio Ceppi will play against Quilpue and is hoping to win this game.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Valparaiso. Leader Colo Colo faced 3rd placed Arabe de Valp.. Guests from Santiago (7-0) smashed host Arabe de Valp. (4-2) 83-51. Worth to mention a great performance of Juan Peters (-1993) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 7 assists. Cristian Urrutia contributed with 15 points for the winners. Argentinian forward Diego Maranesi (-1997) answered with 16 points and 4 steals for Arabe de Valp.Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Undefeated Colo Colo have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 7-0 record. Arabe de Valp. at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with Aleman. Colo Colo's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Santiago Boston College.

Aleman moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Arabe de Valp. Brisas lost their seventh game in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost. They share the position with Arturo Prat. Aleman will meet at home Luis Matte (#6) in the next round. Brisas - Aleman 87-88
