LNB 2 is at the halfway of the Regular Season and there are still another 10 rounds left. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
The most exciting game of round 10 in the LNB 2 took place in Talca. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of their close opponent Luis Matte (6-5) to seventh ranked Truenos (6-5) 75-72 in the game for the fifth place. Truenos made 25-of-32 free shots (78.1 percent) during the game. Forward Martin Morales scored 13 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Alessandro Morales chipped in 13 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side Franco Garrido (181) responded with 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Truenos have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Boston College and Luis Matte. Truenos is looking forward to face Arabe de Valp. (#8) in Valparaiso in the next round. Luis Matte will play at home against Brisas and is hoping to win this game.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Santiago: Colo Colo (#1) and Sergio Ceppi (#2). Sergio Ceppi was smashed at home by 18 points 69-87 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Point guard Diego Valenzuela (185-1994) notched 26 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and Devaughn Jenkins supported him with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks. Even 20 points and 5 rebounds by forward Gabriel Gonzalez did not help to save the game for Sergio Ceppi. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Undefeated Colo Colo (11-0) have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 11 victories in a row. Sergio Ceppi at the other side keeps the second place with four games lost. They share the position with Stadio Italiano and Aleman. Colo Colo's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Santiago Stadio Italiano.

They still close the standings with 11 games lost. Brisas will meet higher ranked Luis Matte (#6) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
