2029 FIBA AmeriCup Pre-Qualifiers: Turks and Caicos Stay Unbeaten, Handle Bermuda

Bermuda's brief flashes of a lead 2-0, then 4-2 in the opening minutes evaporated quickly at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall on July 10, 2026. Once Dylan Morris (193-PF -2007) drilled a three-pointer to put Turks and Caicos ahead for good, the game tilted decisively their way, with an 11-0 burst later in the first quarter setting up a comfortable 76-61 win that pushes Turks and Caicos to 3-0 in this window.
Jessy Maximin (211-C-2000) was dominant on the glass, posting 12 points and 18 rebounds on efficient shooting, and Levard Missick Jr. (203-SG-2000) matched him with his own double-double of 12 points, 10 rebounds and three steals. Roldjudson Lacossade (196-PG -2007) filled the stat sheet with 12 points, six rebounds and five assists in a team-high 33 minutes, and Justin Forbes (196-SG -2009) provided a spark off the bench with 11 points. Malachi Scott (203-F-2004, college: WOU) led Bermuda with 13 points and seven rebounds, and a 10-0 second-quarter run briefly threatened to make things interesting, but Turks and Caicos's dominant third quarter put the game away for good.
