Bolivia - Ecuador 86:81

Ecuador advanced to the second phase of AmeriCup FIBA 2025 Qualifiers despite the loss in the second game against Bolivia. The latter won 86-81, but lost the 154-171 by aggregate. Ecuador secured a 26-10 lead at the start to get control of the game. Bolivia meanwhile replied with a 23-21 narrow win in the second frame and dominated the second half for the final 5-point win.
Ronald Arze (175-PG-1993) led Bolivia with 23 points and Rene Calvo (193-F/G-1993) produced 22. Irin Stark (185-G-1989, college: STAC) nailed 18, whilst Luis Mercado (205-C-1997) had 10. Carlos Malatay (180-G-1990) and Abraham Barahona (198-SF-2003) answered with 13 points each in the losing effort.
