Antigua and Barbuda - US Virgin Islands 54:63

US Virgin Islands posted the initial win in Managua at the AmeriCup FIBA 2025 Qualifiers. They overcame Antigua and Barbuda 63-54 to finish Group B with a 1-2 record. Both teams exchanged the leads in the first half as United States Virgin Islands took 30-25 halftime advantage. Antigua and Barbuda won the third quarter 13-12, however the opponents close the game with a final 21-16 rally. Romani Hansen (203-F-1997, college: Albany) top-scored for the winners with 19 points and Jahsean Corbett (198-G-2002) poured in 13. Jamine Charles (211-F-2002, college: Blinn JC) answered with 16 points in the losing effort.
