Barbados needed overtime to beat Ecuador in Valdivia at the AmeriCup FIBA 2025 Qualifiers. They finished the group with a 1-2 record after 105-98 win. Barbados won the first period 29-22, but trailed 7 points entering the fourth period. Barbados needed a 23-16 rally to tie the score and then posted a 17-10 run in overtime. Kyrone Alexander (192-SF-2003) top-scored for the winners with 30 points and Kiserian Adams (193-G-2000, college: Baton Rouge) netted 21. Tanner Thomas (198-F-2002) followed them with 19 points in a win. Johu Castillo (199-F-1999) replied with 29 in a loss and Adriano Barreras (186-G-1989) poured in 26.
