Puerto Rico - Dominican Republic 108-94
Puerto Rico edged Dominican Republic to improve at 2-0 record in Group A. Seven players scored in double figures for the winners. George Conditt (210-C-00) produced 18 points and 13 rebounds in the victory. Puerto Rico piled up a comfortable 13-point lead at halftime. They unloaded 55 points in the second half to march to the win. Alejandro Vasquez (190-G-00) accounted for 17 points in the victory. Lester Quinones (196-F-00) answered with game-high 31 points for Dominican Republic.

USA - Panama 118-26
USA breezed past Panama to stay undefeated at the tournament. Armando Bacot (206-PF-00) scored 17 points to lead the North American side. USA went on a stunning 43:0 run in the first period and never looked back en route to the victory. Cole Anthony (188-G-00) accounted for 14 points in the win. Fermin Borbua (198-F-00) answered with 9 points for Panama.

Group B
Argentina - Chile 76-66
Argentina opened win count at the tournament. They held off Chile for 1-1 record in Group B. Marcos Giordano (183-PG-00) tossed in 24 points to lead the winning side. Chile used a 27:15 run in the second period to take a 5-point halftime lead. But Argentina went on a 23:12 run in the fourth period to snatch the victory. Francisco Caffaro (213-C-00, college: Virginia) had 20 points and 15 rebounds in the win. Maxwell Lorca-Lloyd (208-F/C-00)loyd delivered 17 points and 11 rebounds for Chile.

Canada - Ecuador 115-75
Canada cruised past Ecuador for the second consecutive victory in Saint Catharines. Addison Patterson (198-F-01) and A.J. Lawson (201-G-00) produced 20 points each to pace the hosts. Canada unleashed 37 points in the first period to take an 18-point lead. They stayed aggressive offensively throughout the reminder of the contest and raced to the confident win. Emanuel Miller (201-F-00) chipped in 19 points and grabbed 8 rebounds for Canada. Edward Sanchez (188-G-00) answered with 26 points for Ecuador.
