USA - Ecuador 123-41
USA cruised past Ecuador for the second straight victory in Tijuana. They dominated from start to finish. USA piled up a massive 55-17 halftime lead. They dropped 68 points in the second half and cruised to the victory. Jared McCain (188-G-2004) posted 22 points, while Gregory Jackson (203-G-2004) added 20 points and 12 rebounds for the USA. Joseph Caicedo (196-F-2004) hauled in 17 points for Ecuador.

Puerto Rico - Dominican Republic 65-61 OT
Puerto Rico outlasted Dominican Republic in overtime thriller to stay undefeated in Group B. Dominican Republic secured a 27-19 halftime lead. Puerto Rico responded with a 26-13 run in the third term to surge ahead. Dominican Republic erased the deficit in the fourth stanza to force overtime. But Puerto Rico held their opponents to just 2 points in the extra period to snatch the victory. Alejandro Aviles (206-C-2006) provided 13 points and 11 rebounds for Puerto Rico. Edwin Suarez (198-SF-2004) replied with 12 points for Dominican Republic.

Brazil - Mexico 75-57
Brazil rallied past Mexico for the second straight win in Group A. Brazil accumulated a 39-21 halftime lead. They sank 36 points in the second half and rallied to a comfortable win at the end. Eduardo Bersch (188-G-2005) posted 19 points, while Reynan Santos (192-G-2004) added 15 points in the win. Jesus Ochoa (186-PG-2004) answered with 16 points for Mexico.

Canada - Argentina 92-97
Argentina outscored Canada for the first win in Group A. They used a strong 31-20 run in the second period to take a 10-point halftime lead. Canada narrowed the gap at 4-point mark at the final break. Argentina poured in 27 points in the fourth period and rallied to the victory. Dylan Bordon (190-G-2004) and Lee Aaliya (205-F/C-2004) chipped in 17 points each for the winning side. Vasean Allette (188-G-2004) posted 23 points and 7 rebounds for Canada.
