The Americans pushed ahead by double digits in the first and led for 39 minutes and 21 seconds; Argentina never held an advantage. Brazil were equally emphatic in Group A, burying Mexico 103-70 without ever trailing. Lucas Moro (195-F-2009) lit up the bench role with 21 points on 7-of-9 shooting in just over 14 minutes, while Joao Neves (200-SF-2008) (17 points) and Isaiah Santos (190-SG-2008) (16 points, 9 rebounds) controlled the rest.
