There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Liga Metropolitana. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Guatemala: Forza (#4) and Halcones (#3). Forza (5-2) won against visiting Halcones (4-2) 92-87. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Halcones. Strangely Halcones outrebounded Forza 56-41 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forza shot the lights out from three sinking 20 long-distance shots on high 51.3 percentage. It was a great evening for Sebastian Tabata who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 9 rebounds. point guard Anthony Guerra (178-1997) helped adding 31 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side Salgado Salgado responded with 26 points and 9 rebounds. Forza moved-up to third place. Halcones at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. Forza are looking forward to face league's second-placed Coyotes in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Halcones' supporters also look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Guatemala USAC.
Bottom-ranked PIBA (0-7) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their seventh consecutive match to seventh ranked Crossover (2-4) 75-36. It was an exceptional evening for American swingman Eddie Jr Weems (196-1997, college: Carroll, WI) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds. Luke Dove accounted for 22 points and 12 rebounds. Crossover's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jose Perez came up with 20 points and 6 rebounds for PIBA in the defeat. Crossover maintains seventh place with 2-4 record. PIBA at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost. Crossover will play against higher ranked New Legends (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. PIBA will play against Pat City (#6) in Guatemala and hopes to get finally their first victory.
The game in Guatemala supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Coyotes (6-1) played at the court of 5th ranked Pat City (3-3). Coyotes smashed Pat City 132-86 on Monday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Pat City. Malik Lacewell fired 47 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds for the winners. Anfernee Munnings produced a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds for lost side. Coyotes have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 6-1 record having just one point less than leader USAC. Loser Pat City keeps the fifth position with three games lost. They share it with New Legends. Coyotes will meet Forza (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Pat City will play against PIBA and hope to secure a win.
