It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Adelitas made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. American-Jordanian guard Aisha Sheppard (175-1998, college: Virginia Tech) scored 22 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American-Azerbaijani forward Brianna Fraser (190-1997, college: Maryland) chipped in 21 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) during the contest. A very close game took place in Leon between Rojas and Abejas. Fourth ranked Rojas (6-4) got a very close victory on the road over 8th ranked Abejas (2-10). Rojas managed to escape with a 3-point win 75-72 on Friday evening. The best player for the winners was Stasha Carey who scored 29 points and 8 rebounds. Rojas' coach Oswaldo Zermeno used entire bench in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Sara Dickey who recorded 31 points and 6 assists.
