The most important game in the last round took place in Ojinaga between third ranked Ciudad (3-4) and fourth ranked Soles (3-5) on Friday night. Ciudad was defeated by Soles on the road 102-84. Soles looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Dominican forward Miguel Simon (203-1994, college: ASA CC) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 17 rebounds and naturalized Argentinian point guard Cristian Cortes (184-1990) who added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side Ukrainian forward Nikita Konstantynovskyi (208, college: Notre Dame) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Soles maintains fourth position with 3-5 record. Indios at the other side keep the third place with four games lost. Soles are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Faraones (#6) in the next round. Indios will play against the league's second-placed Apaches and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Apaches dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Faraones' 30. Apaches forced 28 Faraones turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists.
