The best for the losing side was the former international Juan Herrera (187-1996) with 23 points and 9 rebounds. Brumas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Real Esteli (10-4) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place. Brumas at the other side still keep top position with one game lost. They share it with Tipitapa. TBN top team - Brumas (13-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixteenth ranked Bonanza (4-11) in Jinotega 107-56. The winners were led by the former international Dalton Cacho (200-1993) who had that evening a triple-double by scoring 10 points, 13 rebounds and 13 assists and Juan Herrera supported him with 25 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Even 7 points and 6 rebounds by guard Jairo Pineda (-2001) did not help to save the game for Bonanza. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Brumas have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-1 record, which they share with Tipitapa. Bonanza lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventeenth place with 11 games lost.
