San Jose celebrated LNB title. They fired past Libertad Asuncion in Game 3 to complete the sweep. 25 personal fouls committed by Libertad A. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for the former international guard Carlos Luis Vallejos (183-92) who led his team to a victory with 10 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. Argentinian forward Sebastian Picton (197-92) contributed with 15 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) for the winners. Five San Jose players scored in double figures. International point guard Jorge Martinez (178-98) answered with 24 points and Javier Martinez added 16 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Libertad A.Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
