McGee-Stafford number one in Puerto Rico BSNF for week 10 (by Hoops Agents)

American Center Imani McGee-Stafford (201-C-1994) had a very impressive game in the last week for Monarcas Juana Diaz, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for week 10.
The 31-year old player had a double-double of 30 points and 20 rebounds, while her team in a lost game to Santurce (#2, 5-3) 91-95. Monarcas moved-up to the 6th position in Puerto Rican BSNF. Monarcas is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 4th lost game this season out of 8 games. In the team's last game McGee-Stafford had a remarkable 56.5% from 2-point range. She turned to be Monarcas' top player in her first season with the team. Imani McGee-Stafford averages this season 26.8ppg, 16.6rpg and 5.0apg.

The second best player in last week's games was young American Talia von Oelhoffen (180-G-2002, agency: Next Page Sports) of Leonas de Ponce. von Oelhoffen had a very good evening with 30 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. It was enough for Leonas to edge the higher-ranked Isabela (#3, 5-4) 76-70. Despite this victory they still are the league outsider. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Leonas managed to get this year. von Oelhoffen is a newcomer at Leonas, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.4ppg (#4). Her other stats are also decent: 6.0rpg and 8.7apg.

Third on the list of top players last week was American forward Asia Taylor (188-F-1991) of Criollas de Caguas (#8). Taylor scored 20 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (!!!). Despite Taylor's great performance the Caguas lost 81-90 to slightly higher-ranked Manati (#7, 3-4). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. Taylor has a very solid season. In 2 games in Puerto Rico she scored 18.5ppg.

7. Essence Booker (173-G-1999) of Hatillo - 28 points and 6 rebounds
8. Kamaria McDaniel (178-G-1999) of Santurce - 20 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Kaela Hilaire (157-PG-1998) of Manati - 17 points and 7 assists
10. Tess Amundsen (185-F-1999) of Monarcas - 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists
