Shae Kelley gets MVP of the Week award for Puerto Rican BSNF (by Hoops Agents)

Experienced American Shae Kelley (185-F-1991) had an amazing evening in the last week for league's second-best Cangrejeras de Santurce and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for week 11.
The 34-year old forward had the game-high 22 points adding six rebounds for Santurce in her team's victory, helping them to beat Hatillo (#5, 4-5) 72-58. Cangrejeras maintains the 2nd position in Puerto Rican BSNF. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Santurce will need more victories to improve their 7-3 record. Kelley turned to be Cangrejeras's top player in her first season with the team. Shae Kelley averages this season 16.8ppg and 7.3rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last week's games was young American center Imani McGee-Stafford (201-C-1994) of Monarcas Juana Diaz. McGee-Stafford impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 23 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Monarcas was edged by slightly higher-ranked Carolina (#4, 6-5) 74-71. This loss caused Monarcas to drop to 6th position in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-5 record. McGee-Stafford is a newcomer at Monarcas and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last week was American Asia Taylor (188-F-1991) of Criollas de Caguas (#7). Taylor scored 26 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. She was a key player of Caguas, leading her team to a 80-68 win against slightly lower-ranked Yauco (#9, 3-6). Taylor has a very solid season. In 3 games in Puerto Rico she scored 21.0ppg.

9. Kaelynn Satterfield (183-G/F-2001) of Isabela - 15 points and 7 rebounds
10. Talia von Oelhoffen (180-G-2002) of Leonas - 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists
