Colombia - Chile 76-45
Colombia prevailed against Chile in the second game in Argentina. Colombia therefore improved at 1-1 record in Group B. Colombia opened a 42-30 halftime lead. They held Chile to just 15 points in the second half and coasted to the victory. Mabel Martinez (180-F-1986) delivered 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Daniela Gonzalez (179-C-2002) added 13 points and 7 rebounds for Colombia. Fernanda Ovalle (183-G/F-2003) answered with 19 points and 8 rebounds for Chile.

Paraguay - Venezuela 65-76
Venezuela topped Paraguay for 1-1 record in Group A. Venezuela registered a 40-27 halftime lead. They protected it well throughout the second half and marched to the victory at the end. Five players scored in double digits for the winners. Daniela Wallen (182-SF-1995, college: Okla City) tallied 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for Venezuela. Waleska Perez (180-G-1994, college: Weatherford JC) had 13 points and 10 rebounds in the victory. Paola Ferrari (178-G/F-1985, college: Union, TN) answered with 17 points for Paraguay.

Uruguay - Brazil 47-104
Brazil gained the second straight win in Argentina. They stormed past Uruguay to stay atop of Group B. Brazil grabbed a 54-19 halftime lead. They sank 50 points in the second half to ease to the win. Kamilla Soares (201-C-2001) finished with 18 points, while Stephanie Soares (198-F/C-2000, college: Master's) added 16 points for Brazil. Florencia Niski (165-PG-2002) netted 10 points for Uruguay.

Argentina - Ecuador 64-37
Argentina cruised past Ecuador to secure the second consecutive win. The hosts posted a 29-18 halftime lead. Argentina held Ecuador to 19 points in the second half and marched to the victory. Luciana Delabarba (167-PG-1997) delivered 10 points for Argentina. Ana Mora (169-SF-1999) replied with 8 points for Ecuador.
