Brazil and Argentina to clash for title

Brazil cruised past Venezuela to enter the title game in Argentina. Brazil dominated from start to finish. They recorded a 52-24 halftime lead. Brazil unleashed 53 points in the second half and marched to the victory. Vanessa Goncalves (185-F-1994) delivered 21 points and 9 rebounds, while Kamilla Soares (201-C-2001) and Stephanie Soares (198-F/C-2000, college: Master's) had 15 points each for Brazil. Mariana Duran (172-PG-1993, college: Okla City) answered with 10 points for Venezuela.

Argentina - Colombia 71-60
Argentina toppled Colombia in the semifinal clash. Colombia eked out a 32-30 halftime lead. But Argentina sank 27 points in the third term to spur ahead. Argentina held their opponents to just 12 points in the fourth frame to race to the win. Luciana Delabarba (167-PG-1997) posted 23 points, while Agostina Burani (186-F/C-1991) added 14 points for the hosts. Daniela Gonzalez (179-C-2002), Manuela Rios (165-F-1997) and Jenifer Munoz (170-PF-1991) hauled in 12 points each for Colombia.
