Ivan Aska (ex DEAC) signs at Malvin- November 19, 2022
Aska's team won OVC Tournament in 2010 and 2012. The previous (2020-21) season he played at Rabotnicki in North Macedonian Prva Liga where in 9 games he had 13.8ppg, 6.1rpg and 1.3spg in that year. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also played in the Cup final. They also advanced to the league semifinals. Aska has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2015. He represented U.S. Virgin Islands at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) three years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: 12.0ppg, 5.8rpg, Assists-5 (3.0apg), FGP: 46.3%, FT: 66.7%. Aska is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to seven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Aska has played previously professionally in Belgium (Leuven Bears), France (Sluc Nancy), Greece (PAOK Thessaloniki, Kolossos H Hotels Rodou and AE Kallitheas), Israel (Maccabi Ramat Gan, Maccabi Ashdod/Be'er Tuvia, Ironi Nes Ziona and Hapoel Hevel Modi'in), Puerto Rico (Cangrejeros), South Korea (KoGas and Seoul Knights) and The Basketball Tournament (Team Challenge ALS). Among many awards he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Greek A1 League Honorable Mention back in 2014. He graduated from Murray State in 2012 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball.
