Atomeromu SE Paks (A Division) is close to signing 27-year old U.S. Virgin Islands 208cm power forward De'Quon Lake (college: Arizona State) for the upcoming season. He last played at SZTE-Szedeak Szeged. In 36 A Division games in Hungary, he recorded 12.1ppg and 6.8rpg last season, helping them reach the cup final. In the previous (2022-23) season, he played at Icon Sea Czarni Slupsk (OBL) in the Polish league, averaging 5.8ppg and 4.4rpg in 33 games.
Lake is a very experienced player. He has traveled quite a bit during his pro career, playing in six different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America, and North America). Lake has played professionally in Belarus (BC Minsk), Poland, Puerto Rico (Criollos), NBA G League (OKC Blue), and The Basketball Tournament (305 Ballers).
He won the Hungarian League championship title in 2021. He was voted to All-ICCAC D1 Honorable Mention in 2016 during his college time.
Lake graduated from Arizona State in 2019 and it will be his sixth season in pro basketball. He played ppg for Iowa Western Community College for 2 years.
