#1. This week's number one is an experienced international center
Esteban Batista (208-83, agency:
Duran International, currently plays in Basketball Champions League Americas). He led his Argentinian team
San Lorenzo to a victory over the closely-ranked Mogi (0-1)
82-78 in the Basketball Champions League Americas in Monday night's game.
Batista was MVP of the game. He recorded 18 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in 22 minutes on the court.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. San Lorenzo de Almagra (2-0) is placed first in the Basketball Champions League Americas.
There are only two games left until the end of the Basketball Champions League Americas Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.

He is in the roster of the Uruguayan senior national team.
#3. The Uruguayan player who performed third best last week abroad was an international point guard
Luciano Parodi (182-94, currently plays in Basketball Champions League Americas). Parodi was the major contributor in
Vivo/Franca's victory against the closely-ranked Aguada (0-2)
95-94 in the Basketball Champions League Americas on Friday night.
He recorded 19 points and added 5 passes in 27 minutes. It was his first game for Vivo/Franca this season.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. His team is placed first in the Basketball Champions League Americas.

#5. International shooting guard
Bernardo Barrera (195-97, currently plays in Argentina) managed to help Gimnasia y Esgrima Comodoro Rivadavia in a victory against the leader Ferro (6-2) crushing them
91-71 in the Argentinian La Liga last Friday.
Barrera recorded only 4 points in 9 minutes on the court.
It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in group Grupo D. Gimnasia y Esgrima Comodoro Rivadavia (5-4) is placed second in Grupo D group.
This year Barrera's overall stats are: 3.8ppg and 1.4rpg in five games.

#6. Forward
Uriel Trocki (201-96, currently plays in Israel) was the main contributor in a
Maccabi Raanana's victory against one of league's weakest teams Netanya (0-1)
83-68 in the Israeli National League (second division) on Tuesday night.
Trocki was the best player in that game. He recorded 24 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. It was his first game for Maccabi Raanana this season.

#7. Former international forward
Maximiliano Sole (195-88, currently plays in Spain) contributed to a
Real Madrid II's victory against the 16th-ranked Aguimes (1-6)
102-92 in the Spanish EBA (fourth division) in Saturday night's game.
He scored only 4 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 12 minutes.
Real Madrid II (6-1) is placed third in Group B.
It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row.
But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.
Sole has been at the team for four years.

#8. Forward
Matias Guerra (201-92, currently plays in Spain) helped
Palma II win their game against the 13th-ranked JAC Sants (2-5)

#9. Former U18 international small forward
Rodrigo Deus (196-97, currently plays in Spain) was not able to secure a victory for
Cazorla (1-4) in their game against Novaschool (4-1) in the Spanish EBA (fourth division). Despite his very good performance in Saturday night's game Deus was the second best scorer with 14 points. He also added 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists.

He used to play for the Uruguayan U18 national team
five years ago.
One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has Uruguayan passport: #1. Diego Soarez (205-C-87, currently plays in Spain). Soarez could not help
Ponferrada CDP (2-6) to beat Moron (5-3). He cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones.
Soarez scored only one point.
Ponferrada CDP (#11) was badly defeated
96-78 on the road by the much higher-ranked Moron (#4) in the East group.
It's Soarez's first season with the team.
He has averaged so far 4.9ppg and 4.4rpg.
Soarez has a dual citizenship: Brazilian and Uruguayan.
