There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in LUB. The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with change at the leadership position, derby games, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

Third defeat of league's leader Aguada (7-3) against fourth ranked Olimpia (7-3) 88-77 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Aguada. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Strangely Aguada outrebounded Olimpia 42-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Puerto Rican forward Johwen Villegas (194-85, college: FIU) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 4 assists. Guard Abel Agarbado (179-93) contributed with 8 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Naturalized Italian Leandro Garcia-Morales (186-80, college: Texas A&M, agency: Pro Sports) answered with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for Aguada. Olimpia have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Aguada and Trouville. Aguada will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest and make it back to the top of the standings. Olimpia will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Malvin. It will be extra interesting game as Malvin is their local rival from Montevideo.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: Trouville (#3) and Defensor (#7). Defensor was defeated at home 82-86 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Defensor. American forward Anthony Danridge (196-86, college: N.Mexico) stepped up and scored 27 points for the winners and Francois Lewis chipped in 15 points. At the losing side American-Puerto Rican guard Isaac Sosa-Carrion (191-90, college: Canisius) responded with 25 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
