What a coincidence that all visitors won their games. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most exciting game of round 12 in the Metropolitan took place in Montevideo. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 8th ranked Lagomar (6-6) to fourth ranked Colon (9-3) 68-65 on Monday evening. Colon made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Argentinian center Cristian Scaramuzzino (206-1992) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American point guard Casey Jones (195-1993, college: Chattanooga) who added 10 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Colon's coach Ernesto Dorrego used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was naturalized American Reque Newsome (203-1981, college: S.Indiana, agency: Pro Sports) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Colon moved-up to third place, which they share with Capitol. Lagomar at the other side keeps the eighth position with six games lost. They share it with O.Mundial. Colon is looking forward to face U.Atletica (#7) in Montevideo in the next round. Lagomar's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo O.Mundial.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: Cordon (#1) and 25 de Agosto (#5). 25 de Agosto was defeated at home 58-71 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Even 12 points and 5 rebounds by American forward Dennis McKinney (193-1998, college: Mt.Mercy, agency: GoEmpire Group) did not help to save the game for 25 de Agosto. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cordon have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-2 record, which they share with Tabare. 25 de Agosto at the other side keeps the fifth place with five games lost.
