Hebraica - Defensor 89-72 No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Hebraica (6-4) beat 10th ranked Defensor (4-7) in Montevideo 89-72 on Thursday. Hebraica dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Defensor's 28. They outrebounded Defensor 37-25 including 27 on the defensive glass. Hebraica looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The winners were led by American power forward Franklin Hassell (203-1988, college: ODU) who scored that evening 20 points and 8 rebounds and American-Dominican guard Adonys Henriquez (201-1994, college: St.Louis) supported him with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Hebraica's coach Leonardo Zylberstein used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 20 points and 6 rebounds by American-Jamaican Quintrell Thomas (203-1990, college: UNLV) did not help to save the game for Defensor.
