Goes - Bigua 81-86 Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: Bigua (#1) and Goes (#2). Goes were defeated at home 81-86 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Bigua players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. It was a great evening for guard Santiago Vidal (180-1989, agency: Pro Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 8 assists. Brazilian center Luis Santos (194-1994) helped adding 20 points, 14 rebounds and 6 blocks. L.Borges (7-7) won against visiting Aguada (8-6) 100-96. L.Borges looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American center Ricardo Glenn (203-1990, college: USC Upstate, agency: Interperformances) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. Gaston Semiglia (186-1991) accounted for 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Dominican center Eloy Vargas (211-1988, college: Kentucky, agency: BIG) came up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds and American guard Orlando Johnson (193-1989, college: UCSB) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Aguada in the defeat. It was an exceptional evening for naturalized German Kiril Wachsmann (203-1984, college: Iona) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 18 rebounds. U.S. Virgin Islands-Puerto Rican forward Ivan Aska (201-1990, college: Murray St., agency: 011 Sports) accounted for 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Point guard Alejandro Acosta (189-1989) came up with 19 points and 5 rebounds and American center Gary McGhee (210-1988, college: Pittsburgh, agency: Inception Sports) added 8 points and 17 rebounds respectively for Nacional in the defeat. Naturalized Spanish guard Gustavo Barrera (194-1985) accounted for 19 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winning side. Four Olimpia players scored in double figures.
