Liga Femenina - Valeria Barrett comes back to Remeros

Remeros Mercedes (Liga Femenina) strengthened their roster with addition of 22-year old 175cm small forward Valeria Barrett. It is actually her comeback to Mercedes as she has played here before. Barrett played last summer at Atletico Aguada in the Liga Femenina. But in 12 games she recorded just 1.5ppg and 1.8rpg. She helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final.
Barrett represented Uruguay at the South American Championship U17 for Women in Sucre (Bolivia) six years ago. Her stats at that event were 5 games: 1.6ppg, 2.2rpg.
