McKinney number one in Uruguayan Metropolitan for round 2 (by Hoops Agents)

American Forward Dennis McKinney (194-F-1998, agency: GoEmpire Group) put on an amazing game in the last round for 25 de Agosto, receiving a Hoops Agents Metropolitan Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 24-year old player had a double-double of 38 points and 18 rebounds, while his team beat O.Mundial (1-1) 90-77. 25 de Agosto is placed at 4th position in Uruguayan Metropolitan. 25 de Agosto is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. In the team's last game McKinney had a remarkable 76.9% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at 25 de Agosto and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Former Mount Mercy University star has very solid stats this year. He also registered 14.5 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Karachi Edo (196-F-1994) of Capitol (#6). Edo scored 20 points and grabbed twenty one rebounds (!!!). Despite Edo's great performance Capitol lost 72-75 to Stockolmo (1-1). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Capitol needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 1 victory and 1 lost game. Edo has a great season in Uruguay. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.0ppg (8th best) and rebounds with 20.0rpg (#1 in league). Edo attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.
