Bigua inks Windi Graterol

Windi Graterol

Atletico Bigua Montevideo (LUB) signed experienced 37-year old Venezuelan international center Windi Graterol (204cm-1986, agency: Pro Sports). Graterol played this summer at Cimarrones in Colombian Liga WPlay. He managed to play in three leagues in three countries last year. In 9 Liga Wplay games just recently he had very impressive stats: 15.7ppg, 9.0rpg, 2.0apg, 1.9spg and 1.0bpg. Graterol also played for Guaiqueries in Venezuelan SPB where in 6 games he recorded 4.7ppg and 3.7rpg.
He also represented Venezuela at the World Cup in China four years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: 1.5ppg, 3.8rpg.
Graterol is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Argentina (Boca and Olimpico), Brazil (Brasilia), Chile (Concepcion), Puerto Rico (Capitanes), Venezuela (Panteras, Cocodrilos, Marinos, Guaros and Miranda), Uruguay (Goes) and Dominican Republic (Metros). Graterol won Venezuelan LPB championship title in 2010 and 2013. He was voted to Latinbasket.com Venezuelan LPB All-Defensive Team back in 2012 and 2014.
He could be described: A rapidly improving inside player who has good athletic skills and mentality. Graterol doesn't fear anyone in the paint and plays with intensity.
