The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: Aguada and Defensor. Aguada won against visiting Defensor 82-77. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Defensor. Aguada made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American Victor Rudd (206-1991, college: S.Florida) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Dominican center Luis Santos (203-1994, college: St.Louis) contributed with 17 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. American guard Malik Curry (184-1999, college: WVU) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists for Defensor.
The game in Montevideo was also worth to mention about. Urupan played at the court of Malvin. Malvin managed to secure a 8-point victory 92-84. Point guard Lucas Capalbo (175-2000, college: Odessa JC) stepped up and scored 29 points for the winners and Shamorie Ponds chipped in 19 points and 9 assists. At the losing side Dominican forward Miguel Simon (203-1994, college: ASA CC, agency: BMS Sport Agency) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds.
The game between L.Borges and Goes in Montevideo on Monday ended with biggest points difference. Guests from Montevideo outscored L.Borges 102-81. Christian James nailed a double-double by scoring 16 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists for the winning side. Goes' coach Luis Silveira felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fernando Verrone came up with 20 points and 7 rebounds for L.Borges in the defeat.
