Cordon had a 36-25 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Cordon made 11 blocks. American power forward Chaz Crawford (208-1984, college: Drexel) fired a double-double by scoring 11 points, 17 rebounds and 7 blocks for the winners. Guard Martin Trelles (187-1996) chipped in 23 points and 5 rebounds. Four Cordon players scored in double figures.
