Conceicao number one in Uruguayan Metropolitan for round 6

Brazilian Center Sergio Conceicao (209-C-2000) had an amazing evening in the last round for Larre Borges Montevideo, receiving a Hoops Agents Metropolitan Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 23-year old player had a double-double of 28 points and 17 rebounds, while his team beat Larranaga (#11, 2-4) 92-87. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. L.Borges is placed at 14th position in Uruguayan Metropolitan. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 5 games and recorded just one victory. In the team's last game Conceicao had a remarkable 64.3% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at L.Borges and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Sergio Conceicao averages just after two games 21.5ppg and 12.0rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Facundo Terra (187-G-1998, agency: Pro Sports) of Stockholmo Montevideo. Terra had a very good evening with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Of course he led Stockolmo to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Sayago (#15, 1-5) 105-66. This victory allowed Stockolmo to move up to 8th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 3-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Terra is one of the most experienced players at Stockolmo and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was forward Gianfranco Espindola (196-F-1999) of Colon F.C. (#4). Espindola scored 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Colon, leading his team to a 84-81 win against the lower-ranked Bohemios (#7, 3-3). Colon needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 2 lost games. Espindola has a very solid season. In 3 games in Uruguay he scored 13.3ppg.
