Brown number one in Uruguayan Metropolitan for round 15 (by Hoops Agents)

American Power forward Tirrell Brown (198-PF-1993) had a very impressive game in the last round for Atletico Tabare, receiving a Hoops Agents Metropolitan Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 31-year old player had a double-double of 19 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat Capitol (#9, 7-7) 86-72. Tabare is placed at 6th position in Uruguayan Metropolitan. Tabare is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 8-7 record. Brown turned to be Tabare's top player in his first season with the team. Former Ouachita Baptist University star has very solid stats this year. Brown is league's best scorer averaging so far 22.9ppg. Brown is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 10.0rpg) and averages impressive 1.1bpg,59.1% FGP and 42.3% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was Argentinian Valentin Duvanced, agency: BIG) of Colon F.C.. Duvanced had a very good evening with a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Colon lost that game 95-100 to the higher-ranked Montevideo (#4, 9-7). This loss caused Colon to drop to 10th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-8 record. Duvanced is a newcomer at Colon, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Argentinian guard Mateo Bolivar (187-SG-1992) of Larranaga Montevideo (#7). Bolivar showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Larranaga, leading his team to a 88-82 win against the lower-ranked Sayago (#12, 5-9). Larranaga needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 8 lost games. Bolivar has a great season in Uruguay. After 15 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 4.9apg (6th best).
