Da Costa's double-double lands him Metropolitan Player of the Week award

26-year old forward Agustin Da Costa (191-F-1998) put on an amazing game in the last round for Bohemios Montevideo and receives a Hoops Agents Metropolitan Player of the Week award for round 22.
He had a double-double of 32 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Sayago (#13, 7-12) with 21-point margin 100-79. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Bohemios is placed at 12th position in Uruguayan Metropolitan. Bohemios is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 8-13 record. In the team's last game Da Costa had a remarkable six three-pointers out of 11 attempts. He turned to be Bohemios' top player in his first season with the team. Agustin Da Costa averages this season 16.7ppg and 5.3rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Randy Rickards (201-F-2000) of Verdirrojo Montevideo. He is American forward in his first season at Verdirrojo. In the last game Rickards recorded an impressive double-double of 25 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Verdirrojo was edged by the higher-ranked Olimpia (#1, 16-4) 87-85. Third place about best performers goes to forward Agustin Zuvich (201-F/C-1995) of Larranaga Montevideo (#4). Zuvich showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, 13 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Larranaga, leading his team to a 89-82 win against the lower-ranked Stockolmo (#8, 10-9). Larranaga needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 12 victories and 9 lost games. Zuvich has a great season in Uruguay. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.5ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 10.6rpg (3rd best). Agustin Zuvich has also Uruguayan passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
