Defensor Sporting Club Montevideo (LUB) agreed terms with American forward James Montgomery (203cm-100kg, college: Barry) for the new 2024-25 season. He played last season at Saskatchewan in the Canadian CEBL. In 8 games just recently, he had 8.0ppg and 5.8rpg.
He just graduated from Barry University (16.4ppg, 11.8rpg, 2.6apg, 0.9spg) and it will be his first season as a pro. Montgomery played also for Molloy College for 2 years.
