The winners were led by Stan Scott who had that evening a double-double by scoring 29 points and 15 rebounds. Even 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by Lautaro Perez did not help to save the game for Montevideo. Olimpia have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 21-5 record. Montevideo lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with 17 games lost. They share the position with Bohemios.
Other games in round 28 were not that significant. Stockolmo was beaten by Bohemios on the road 87-75. Tabare lost to Larranaga on its own court 82-89.
