Malvin's coach Pablo Lopez allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. His fellow American import guard Malik Curry (184-1999, college: WVU) accounted for 16 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winning side. Dominican center Luis Santos (203-1994, college: St.Louis) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and naturalized Italian point guard Luciano Parodi (182-1994) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Penarol in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.

Panamanian power forward Ezequiel Bell (202-1999) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and forward Santiago Massa (190-1997) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively for Hebraica in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
