There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Liga de Ascenso. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked L.Borges (7-2) in Montevideo on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Lagomar (5-3) 77-64. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of L.Borges. American point guard Jamal Hartwell II (180-1999, college: UC Riverside) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points. Forward Santiago Moglia (196-1989) contributed with 14 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Forward Manuel Oyenard (194-2000) answered with 19 points and 6 rebounds for L.Borges. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Despite that victory Lagomar went down to fifth position due to points difference. L.Borges at the other side still keep top place with two games lost. They share the position with Atenas and Verdirrojo. Lagomar's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Stockolmo.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Montevideo: Larranaga (#5) and Stockolmo (#6). Stockolmo was defeated at home 74-78 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It was a great evening for naturalized Argentinian power forward Agustin Zuvich (201-1995) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Gabriel Brun helped adding 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. point guard Emiliano Bonet (186-2001) responded with 23 points and 4 assists. Larranaga (6-3) moved-up to fourth place. Larranaga's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Verdirrojo.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Atenas (7-2) against seventh ranked Colon (4-5) on Wednesday night. Visiting Atenas were defeated by Colon in a tough game in Colon 62-67. It was an exceptional evening for Martin Tessadri who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds.
