The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: Nacional (#5) and Hebraica (#4). Hebraica was crushed at home by 31 points 80-111 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Nacional dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Hebraica's 38 and made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Hebraica 50-24 including a 32-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Nacional looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Panamanian power forward Ernesto Oglivie (203-1989) chipped in 22 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Forward Ignacio Xavier (195-1999) produced 13 points and 7 assists for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion (15-8) moved-up to fourth place. Hebraica lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with 11 games lost. Malvin was crushed at home by 29 points 67-96 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Malvin. Guard Santiago Vescovi (191-2001, college: Tennessee) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Skyler Hogan contributed with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. American guard Joshua Webster (190-1997, college: Missouri St.) answered with 13 points and 9 assists for Malvin. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Penarol maintains first place with 21-4 record. Malvin at the other side keeps the third position with nine games lost. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Aguada have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 18-7 record having just one point less than leader Penarol. Defensor lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Urunday. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Argentinian Nahuel Amichetti (202-1998) stepped up and scored 20 points for the winners and American forward Travis Daniels (203-1992, college: MSU, agency: Olsta) chipped in 10 points and 12 rebounds. Urunday's coach Mauricio Gonzalez used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest.
